Iron and Steele is the brainchild of Jake Steele; a car builder, author and automotive historian based out of Portland, Oregon. Jake has been a staple in the hot rod community in the Northwest and beyond for years, founding The Estranged Car Club. This website is a web-based platform for people to gather to read about tradition, history, and people behind the hot rods. Iron and Steele caters to not only die-hard car guys, but invites people from all walks of life to see what all the fuss is about with these old cars through amazing photography, and creative story telling.
